The Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology (IGDB), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), invite applicants for several research group leader positions and one bioinformatics facility director position. 

IGDB is a leading institution of life sciences in China. We seek nominations and applications from individuals who have expertise and a record of accomplishment in research areas related to bioinformatics, genomics, computational biology and systems biology. The successful candidates for the research group leader positions will be expected to in part develop novel computational or bioinformatics algorithms and methodologies, or to use bioinformatics, computational biology, evolutionary genomics or systems biology approaches to address fundamental biological questions. The major duty of the bioinformatics facility director is to lead staffs of the facility to analyze large-scale biological data produced by laboratories of IGDB, and to develop databases or bioinformatics tools when needed.

The appointment of all positions will be at Principal Investigator (full professor) level. Candidates are expected to hold a Ph.D. degree and a minimal four-year postdoctoral experience. Start-up package will be accompanied by either the “One-Hundred Talents Program of CAS” or the “One-Thousand Talents Program of China”.
